If you’re running a service business, you have 3 competitive strategies to choose from — premium, convenience, and price.

A competitive strategy is how you distinguish yourself so that clients choose you.

Premium means your offering is really special — perhaps you have exceptional talent, or rare method, or rare tools, or your service is difficult to render so that only you (or very few of you) can render it.

Convenience means your service makes people’s lives so much better that they’d rather not live without it.

Price means you’re more affordable than the others.

You can employ 2 strategies at the same time — like convenience + price — but never all 3.
